Ue boom speaker7/14/2023 No brand has fully embraced the Bluetooth speaker market as thoroughly as JBL, who started making waves with their Bluetooth speakers when the idea was in its relative infancy. JBL also produces the fun "Pulse" and "Partybox" products that include flashing light shows, with the latter including a wireless microphone that is ideal for annoying neighbors, especially on weeknights. Then on the larger end of the spectrum, the "Extreme" and "Boombox" product lines provide larger portable speakers that can easily fill a room, pool space, or backyard. There is a JBL portable Bluetooth speaker to suit all requirements, and in the mid-sized range, there are the waterproof Flip and Charge models, the latter of which comes with a built-in power bank, making it a great accompaniment on outbound trips. In the same instance, its line of ultra-portables is quirky and stylish and boasts excellent sonic properties so that you can take your pick. If you are looking for a Bluetooth speaker that looks cool in your living space, has over 50 years of heritage, and has excellent build quality, you could do a lot worse than one of Marshall's standalone models. Each of these offers Bluetooth 5.0 aptX technology for lossless streaming, a range of 30 feet, and a battery life of over 20 hours. However, this shouldn't deter you, as there is a funky range of portable options in the Marshall arsenal, namely the Stockwell II, Kilburn II, Tufton, and Emberton models. Other than that, they are similar, and all require a mains connection to operate, with no built-in battery. In order of small to large are the Acton II, Stanmore II, and Woburn III models, and they differ primarily in speaker size, clarity, and sound projection. Marshall's larger Bluetooth speakers are reminiscent of its floor-standing combo amps and are named after areas in and around London. It's worth checking out Edifier, if only for its quirkiness and its unique approach to audio engineering that sets it apart from others, although aesthetically speaking, its products may not be to everyone's taste. From its egg-shaped "e25" pair to the hexagonal "G2000" set and a variety of retro and modern styles in between, you cannot accuse this brand of being boring. Like its portable speaker selection, Edifier offers great variety in the designs of its bookshelf speakers, with a myriad of different styles to choose from, for various applications. At the other end of the price range is the stunning MP230, with its cool retro styling, long battery life, and multiple connectivity options. They are also affordable, with many products that retail under $50, although, as you might expect from a budget option, they only carry an IP54 splash-proof rating. Its ultra-portable Bluetooth speakers come in various shapes and sizes, with different color schemes and materials used for each. We don’t consider any of these features essential, but they can be convenient add-ons.Unlike most other brands, Edifier doesn't stick to similar aesthetics for each product line. Special features: Bluetooth speakers may offer extra features, including speakerphone capability, multi-speaker pairing (the ability to play the same material through two Bluetooth speakers at once), and built-in lighting. The sonic differences among these codecs are insignificant next to the easily heard differences among the speakers themselves. Bluetooth codecs: We don’t award extra points for inclusion of additional Bluetooth codecs beyond the standard SBC codec found in all Bluetooth devices.Playback controls: Because you can control the playback from your Bluetooth source device (usually a phone or tablet), we don’t require the speaker itself to have playback controls, but it’s a convenient perk.Less-expensive models often don’t sound better or play much louder than a phone’s built-in speakers. We prefer speakers with an Ingress Protection (IP) rating, which tells you exactly how dustproof and waterproof a speaker is. Ruggedness and waterproof design: We give priority to speakers that are built to survive the knocks and bumps of travel. In selecting our top pick, we prioritize speakers that are compact and easy to toss into a backpack or beach bag. Portability and battery life: We focus on models that have rechargeable batteries and are designed to take a trip to the beach or the park with no hassle.

Darkest dungeon ii tips7/14/2023 The final battle for Act One is a slough against a massive brain. Once both Cultist Mini-Bosses have been defeated, players are free to roll the Stagecoach towards the final encounter of Act One. Gamers should avoid being complacent with these fights as the Cultists are capable of wiping out a team. Instead, players will enter a Lair and tussle with a Mini-Boss. Sprinkled along the path are two Cultist Lairs, although they're slightly different than the traditional "three battle" structure from previous zones. Although it's a "straight shot" to the boss' chamber, there are still some enemies that players will need to face before getting a shot to take down the big bad itself. The Mountain is slightly different than most zones, being much shorter and featuring one extra-long straight path that creeps towards a massive gate-like structure. Once gamers have done everything they can and stocked up on as much as possible at the Inn, they can set out towards the freezing tundra. The traditional "choose your zone" will be replaced by an extra-large icon featuring the shrouded, looming peak of The Mountain. Once players have made it past three zones and are comfortably sitting at the Inn, they'll only have access to one path moving forward. Although developers promise that each run should last less than 5 hours, players shouldn't feel discouraged if they fail to reach the Summit for the first few (or many more) runs they take. The Foetor, The Scorch, The Tangle, and The Sluice are all filled with dangers and any given run can be more (or less) punishing depending on what directions players choose when making their way through each area. That sounds simple on the surface, but thanks to Darkest Dungeon 2's punishing world, it's rather easy for players to find themselves restarting from the beginning, especially during the early hours of their journey. It doesn't matter in what order players tackle these zones, so long as they manage to make it through three of them intact. In order to reach the freezing summit, players will need to first make their way through three zones. But players can still get a loose grasp of what to expect when traveling towards The Mountain. It's rare that any two journies will ever be the same, thanks to a cavalcade of skills, ailments, enemy compositions, and zones. Many aspects of Darkest Dungeon 2 are randomly and procedurally generated. But how long does it take players to reach the summit and what's waiting for them when they cross the veil? Here's a look at what it takes to reach the precipice and how to take down the final boss of Darkest Dungeon's Act One. Right now, players have the entire first act to sift through, with multiple characters, a few bosses, a handful of zones, and a final battle culminating at the top of a massive mountain. RELATED: Darkest Dungeon 2: How to Complete Head of the Class (Plague Doctor Story) This gives players a lot to look forward to concerning the future of the game but it is important to note that, in its current state, things appear to be "episodic" with Darkest Dungeon 2 and developers will look to add new content in an "acts and chapters" style structure. Darkest Dungeon 2, like its predecessor, is being offered to players as an early access title, meaning developers will be listening to community feedback to help shape the iconic sequel to the Indie smash hit.

Steve Clarke’s men continued to press for a goal and came desperately close when Stuart Armstrong’s shot deflected onto the top of the net. His effort has already been touted as the goal of the tournament. Goalscorer Schick picked up the ball just inside the opposition half and hit a first-time strike over the head of Marshall and into the back of the net. Not long afterwards, Czech Republic doubled their lead with a moment of pure quality. Jack Hendry also came close to an equaliser, seeing his effort from the edge of the box clip the crossbar. Vaclik was also forced into action, sparing Tomas Kalas’ blushes after the former Chelsea man looped a clearance towards his own goal. Marshall was forced into two early saves, denying Schick a second, as well as Vladimir Darida. The second half started in end-to-end fashion. West Ham United full-back Vladimir Coufal crossed for Schick, who diverted his header into the far corner to give his side the lead going into the break. With half time approaching the deadlock was broken, and it was the visitors who got it. However, the Liverpool man’s strike was turned over the crossbar by Tomas Vaclik. Then Robertson had a chance of his own after being teed up by Ryan Christie. He combined well with Stuart Armstrong and crossed for Lyndon Dykes, who fired wide at the near post. Mj dance style7/14/2023 In Los Angeles, after landing that first job, things quickly picked up. And this seemed to be the path for me.” Meeting Michael “But life just presents itself, and if you keep yourself open, you find the path. I never had any aspirations to do it in terms of something professional. “I took one class and I was like, ‘What the heck is this?’ I just fell in love with it. they’d say, ‘Touch your toes.’ I could hardly touch my knees. “If anybody had seen me at that point, they’d have said, ‘You’re gonna go take dance classes?!’” he says. There, a few months later, he walked into a dance studio and at 23 signed up for a beginning ballet class otherwise filled with preteen girls. In 1973, Paterson and a friend fled the cold Philadelphia winters, driving toward the warm sunshine of Tucson, Arizona. “But I left that behind to keep getting into more avant-garde stuff or the classics and work like that.” “It was alternative, crazy theater or a little bit of mime that got me into a little bit of movement,” Paterson says. Rather, Paterson was a theater kid in high school, an interest that continued upon entering Dickinson College in Pennsylvania in 1968. I mean, you would have had your legs broken, probably.” “You only danced because you went to a wedding or a party or something like that. “People did not dance there,” Paterson says. “Where I grew up was kind of like the Liverpool of the United States along the Delaware River and the oil refineries. “Well, first of all, it just never entered my life,” he says of how far the blue-collar Pennsylvania town where he was born in 1950 was from the world where dance was an actual career. Unlike dancers today, who often enter the field at a young age and train at high levels for years, Paterson didn’t take his first dance class until he was almost 24. That Paterson even got a chance to dance professionally in Hollywood is remarkable. “It was the beginning of the destiny that said, ‘This is what you are supposed to do.’” A late bloom “So this incredible man, Joe Bennett, a major choreographer at the time, came over to watch me for a little while and gave me my first gig, and it saved my life. “And then a choreographer called me and said he was looking for one more guy, and could he come and watch me in class,” Paterson says. With a few hours to kill, he took what he thought might be his last-ever dance class. He walked into a restaurant to ask about work and was told to come back at dinner. “All I had was a sleeping bag and a duffel bag in the corner of a room in Hollywood. “I lived on the floor of a one-bedroom apartment with this guy and a girl and their two French poodles,” Paterson says of those early months in the city. Yet when he landed in Los Angeles in the mid-’70s, hoping for a life of dance in film and television, Paterson – whose memoir, “Icons & Instincts: Choreographing and Directing Entertainment’s Biggest Stars” was recently published by Rare Bird Books – nearly gave up before he ever really started. Related: Sign up for our free newsletter about books, authors, reading and more How about movies including “The Birdcage,” “Evita” and “Dancer in the Dark”? It’s Paterson’s name as choreographer in the credits. Or Madonna’s groundbreaking Blond Ambition tour? He co-directed its dance numbers for the Material Girl and her troupe of backing dancers. Like, say, Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” music video? Paterson’s one of the two gang leaders knife-fighting in the climactic dance-off. His name may not be familiar, but there’s a good chance you’ve seen Vincent Paterson’s work as a dancer or choreographer.
